Universal Control 1.7.4 (v5773) Release Notes

This update to Universal Control for PreSonus FireStudio Interfaces and Gen 1 StudioLive Mixers is to support co-install with the latest Public Beta version of UC Surface (v 1.5.1) on the same system. Also, this release removes the necessity for 16.4.2 Console mixers on firmware earlier than 1.13 to install and update firmware using UC 1.2 before updating to later versions of UC. Customers with 16.4.2 firmware earlier than 1.13 can now update directly to the latest firmware using this Public Beta release.
Improvements:
● Co-­Install compatibility with Public Beta Universal Control ­AI / UC Surface software. Both software control panels can coexist on the same system at the same time.
NOTE: Simultaneous operation of StudioLive­ AI mixers with FireStudio interfaces or 1st generation StudioLive mixers is not supported. This driver and control panel will not control the new StudioLive ­AI series mixers.

Known Issues
● When the StudioLive 24.4.2 Subgroup Delay time is between 10­50 ms, the last digit is partially cut off
● Non-­Western Characters in the name of iOS device will show up in the VSL Remote Devices Section as ?????
Universal Control Update Instructions:
1. Quit out of Universal Control and disconnect your device from the computer.
2. Run the installer and follow the onscreen instructions. The installer requires that your computer be rebooted upon successful completion.
3. Once your computer has restarted, connect your FireStudio­ or StudioLive­ series device and open
Universal Control.
