Desktop Computer is a computer that is stationary on a desk and its main parts are separate pieces that must be plugged into each other and an electrical outlet.
Discussion/Discussion Boards are a way for you to interact and share ideas with your classmates and instructor online. Your instructor will post a topic and give you instructions, then you’ll share your ideas in a discussion board post. It’s just like a written conversation.

Excel is a spreadsheet app by Microsoft.

Face-to-face are classes that are fully in-person on campus at the time listed.
Feedback is when your instructor leaves comments or changes to your work to let you know how you can do better or what you need to change for another submission.

Grades is where you’ll find scores and feedback on assignments you’ve submitted in Canvas.
Gradebook is where you'll find scores and feedback on assignments you've submitted in WAMAP.
Groups are a tool in Canvas that allow you to work with peers assigned to you or create a study group of your own and communicate.

Office Hours are hours when an instructor is open to drop-ins or scheduled visits from students to answer questions or concerns about the course, help with homework, or give more in-depth feedback. They can be in-person or virtual.
Office 365 is the web version of all of Microsoft Office's products like Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and others.
OneDrive is a file hosting and synchronization service operated by Microsoft as part of its web version of Office 365.
Online is a course that the entire class will be held online without a set time to attend.
Outlook is an app by Microsoft that runs our Green River email.

Password for Canvas is by default your student ID number.
Peer Review is a learning tool to improve your work through review by others and also deepen your learning by reviewing others' work.
PowerPoint is an app for presentations by Microsoft.

Remind Mobile App is a way to stay connected to your class and instructor without giving out your personal phone number.
Respondus Lockdown Browser is a custom browser that locks down your computer during a test/exam/quiz.
Respondus Lockdown Browser + Webcam is a a custom browser that locks down your computer and records your webcam and microphone during a test/exam/quiz.
